Buy FarmVille Farm Cash, grab a Black Cherry Horse for free

We know there is tons of free Farm Cash out there, but sometimes ... sometimes is pays to, well, pay. Starting today in FarmVille, players who buy 4, 25 or 115 Farm Cash from Zynga will be rewarded with a special prize: the Black Cherry Horse. Alright, it's not a brand new one, but one that was released earlier this year for Valentine's Day.

Either way, this is a rare Horse that you can no longer attain, if you missed it a few months back. The deal lasts for just the next two days, or 44 hours as of this writing. We're not going to sway you one way or the other--but dang does that Horse look nice.

FarmVille GagaVille Trees: Big Chrome Apple, Big Chrome Cherry and Gem Fruit Trees

Tonight's FarmVille update apparently sees the final set of GagaVille items being released to the store, with this update bringing with it four new trees. There's the pair of the Gem Fruit Trees that we've told you about previously, available for 7 and 12 Farm Cash each, along with giant versions of the Chrome Apple and Chrome Cherry Tree.

Interestingly, even though both of the latter trees are large, they don't have the same price tag, as the Big Chrome Apple Tree costs 7 Farm Cash and the Big Chrome Cherry Tree costs 12 Farm Cash. I'm actually glad that this theme is coming to an end, as I don't know how much more my virtual wallet could take before bursting into flames from overuse. All of these trees are masterable, and they'll all be available in the game for the next two weeks.

FarmVille Sneak Peek: European Pear & Cherry Plum Trees

It looks as though two new trees will be coming to FarmVille as early as this weekend, as we've come across unreleased images of both trees in their harvest-ready state, along with mastery signs proving that Zynga is in fact working on them for future release.

The trees are the European Pear Tree and the Cherry Plum Tree. It should be noted that as these trees are so different from each other visually, we doubt that one will be the Mystery Seedling of the other, so could there be two other trees waiting to be discovered out there? Perhaps a giant version of both?

While it's presumable that at least the European Pear Tree will be in the current English Countryside limited edition theme, anything is possible at this point, so make sure to keep checking back with us, as we let you know whether you'll be able to place these trees on your Home Farm, your English Countryside farm, or both.

FarmVille Anti-Valentine Animals: Skunk, Black Cherry Horse, Black Cherry Foal

Continuing in FarmVille's short Anti-Valentine's Day theme, we see the release of three new animals in the game this evening. Two of these animals are available to purchase in the store, and come in the form of a Skunk and a Black Cherry Horse.

If you're looking to celebrate your single-status this Valentine's Day, we can't think of a better way to keep your friends away from you than to have a Skunk on your farm. You can purchase one for 16 Farm Cash. Skunks are available to harvest every two days, and you'll receive 90 coins when doing so. You'll earn 1600 experience points for purchasing the Skunk. It should be noted that the Skunk was released previously in the game as a Mystery Game item, so don't be alarmed if it looks familiar.

Meanwhile, the Black Cherry Horse will be an expensive addition to your horse collection, as it costs 26 Farm Cash. As with other horses, the Black Cherry variety can be harvested every three days, and you'll gain 140 coins when doing so. The Black Cherry Horse can be placed inside your Horse Stable, and if combined with a Stallion (either wandering or permanent), you'll have a chance to breed a matching Black Cherry Foal.

Personally, we think the Black Cherry Horse is pretty enough to not need hiding after Valentine's Day has come and past, but we'll leave that up to you.

FarmVille Anti-Valentine Tree: Black Cherry Tree

To round out their brief Anti-Valentine's Day theme in FarmVille, Zynga has released a new limited edition tree to the game in the form of the Black Cherry Tree. Visually, this tree looks like a more sculpted version of the regular Cherry Tree, as it has more rounded leaves, while the original Cherry Tree has an oval-shaped top.

What makes this worth noting is the fact that the Black Cherry Tree, along with the regular Cherry Tree, both spawn the same tree when placed inside an Orchard, that being the Rainier Cherry Tree. Keep this in mind when choosing whether or not to purchase the Black Cherry Tree, which is available for 5 Farm Cash. Fortunately, this is a fairly cheap price, so even if you just purchase the tree once for its eventual mastery sign, you won't really be out a great deal of premium currency.

If you do go through with the purchase, you'll then be the (hopefully) proud owner of a tree that can be harvested once every two days, offering you 150 coins in the process. This is the same set of stats as most other trees released semi-recently, so you're not missing out on anything there either.

The Black Cherry Tree will be available for the next two weeks, giving you plenty of time to decide whether or not to make a purchase.
