FarmVille Raffle Booth (11/13/11): Bay Andalusian Horse and Flower Bridge up for grabs

Attention FarmVille Horse collectors! This is definitely a week where you'll want to pay attention to the FarmVille Raffle Booth, as the grand prize is now a new horse. If you haven't traded in your Raffle Tickets from last week's game, you'll need to do that first, and then start this week fresh with just a single ticket (and hopefully a lot of luck)! You'll have five prizes up for grabs this week, with the lesser three being those you expect. Here are the odds for this week's series of items:

10 Special Delivery Boxes - 1:5
3 Farmhands - 1:20
5 Love Potions - 1:50
Flower Bridge - 1:200
Bay Andalusian Horse - 1:500

Now, the Flower Bridge has been seen in the game before, as a decoration available way back in the New England event of 2010. It's also been re-released since then as a Birthday Classics item, so hopefully you'll win the horse instead of this, so you won't have a duplicate. As always, the only way to win is to try, so you'll need to ask your friends for as many Raffle Tickets within the next seven days as you can.

I personally have yet to win anything greater than the Love Potions from these raffles, regardless of having dozens of tickets each week. But hey, someone has to be winning these items, right? So why not you? Good luck winning the top two items in this week's raffle!

FarmVille Raffle Booth (10/09/11): Colonial Farm House and Rooster Compass back for another round

Back at the end of August, both the Colonial Farm House and Rooster Compass were available as the main prizes in the FarmVille Raffle Booth. While the other three prizes were different back then, these two major prizes have come back around for another week. This will give you potentially dozens of additional chances at earning either of these prizes, if you didn't win them the first time around. As usual, we're here to give you a complete look at these new items, along with the odds you'll have of winning them.

Colonial Farm House - 1:500

Compared to their last appearance, the odds for both the Rooster Compass and the Colonial Farm House have moved more into your favor. For instance, the Colonial Farm House used to only have a 1:2000 odds of winning. Hopefully, this means that more items will actually be given away, and we'll see the rarity of this one drop. Remember, just because you win one item in the raffle doesn't mean your guaranteed to win them all, no matter how nice that might be.

As usual, you have a full week to gather raffle tickets, either by asking friends to send them to you or by purchasing them outright with Farm Cash. If you have a large enough circle of active friends, however, there's really no reason to waste the Farm Cash on them, especially when you're not guaranteed to win anything (as I said before). Still, we wish you good luck in winning all five of the prizes this week. Make sure to let us know if you do!

FarmVille Raffle Booth: Everything you need to know

Tonight marked the release of the highly anticipated Raffle Booth in FarmVille, which will see players collecting raffle tickets with friends each week for chances to win some new (and exclusive) items, or just simple tools that can be used around your farm(s). For a clearer look at the feature, let's look at the steps you'll need to take to start entering into raffles.

First, you'll be given the Raffle Booth for free upon logging in. From there, you'll be able to immediately start collecting tickets. Of course, you'll need your friends' help in collecting raffle tickets, but there's a catch: you can only collect a maximum of six raffle tickets each and every day. If you help a friend with their request for a ticket, you'll earn one as well, and this does look to count as part of your six tickets allowed each day.

Once the feature gets up and going, the FarmVille Raffle Booth will be holding drawings once per week. Of course, the more tickets that you've collected with friends each week, the more individual entries you'll have to win that week's prizes. For instance, for this first week of the raffle, you'll have a chance at rare animals like a blue and green flower-patterned Ram and a flower-patterned miniature horse. If you do happen to win, you'll be happy to know that the friend that gave the ticket to you will also receive the same gift, and vice versa (should you give someone the winning ticket, you'll get the same prize as they do).

Ultimately, that's all this feature really boils do to: constant friend requests, as you all try to scramble together six tickets everyday, and an apparently ever-revolving set of prizes, similar to the way the Mystery Game currently works in the game.

If this feature becomes more complicated, we'll make sure to let you know, but for now, feel free to bask in the simplicity.

FarmVille Raffle Booth Goals: Everything you need to know

As with most "contests" in the real world, the Raffle Booth in FarmVille boils down to more luck than actual skill. If you're looking for something to test your gameplay abilities, though, why not try out the accompanying Raffle Booth goals? There are just three goals available here, so let's get started working on them immediately, shall we?

For both the Raffle Drums and the Raffle Tickets, you'll need to ask your friends to help you out by sending them to you. For finishing this first goal, you'll receive a Carnival Gnome, 100 XP, 2,500 coins and three Raffle Tickets.

Time to Play Receive 9 Raffle TicketsHarvest 50 Fruit CropsHarvest 100 Potatoes
Luckily, it doesn't look to matter which kinds of fruit crops you plant, so you should be able to plant anything without penalty, in theory. Once you've completed these three tasks, you'll earn 100 XP, 2,500 coins three Raffle Tickets and a Chicken.

While nine Raffle Tickets doesn't sound like a lot, remember that you're only allowed to earn six in a single day. This means that you could possibly wait the better part of two days as you try to earn just nine tickets. Also, it (again) doesn't look like there's a specific vegetable crop we need to plant, so go for whatever is easiest for you at the time. Finish off this goal and you'll earn 100 XP, 2,500 coins, three Raffle Tickets and a free Coin Tree!

If new goals are added to this series in the future, we'll make sure to let you know. For now though, enjoy running through these goals while they're available, as they won't be around after the next two weeks.
