SPMD Kenshoo adds former Facebook VP Grady Burnett to board of directors

Facebook Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer Kenshoo announced recently that it has added Grady Burnett, formerly Facebook’s Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions, to the company’s board of directors.

Burnett spent 4 1/2 years at Facebook and 4 years at Google, where he launched the Google Ann Arbor. Michigan office and served as Director of Online Sales and Operations for the Google North American AdWords team. Currently, Burnett is the COO of Flurry, a mobile analytics and advertising company.

Yoav Izhar-Prato, co-founder, CEO, and chairman of the board for Kenshoo, welcomed Burnett in a press release:

Burnett discussed why he joined the board of directors:

Facebook VP of Global Marketing Solutions Grady Burnett joins Flurry

Facebook recently sustained another departure, as the company’s Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions, Grady Burnett, has joined San Francisco-based app management and advertising platform Flurry as Chief Operating Officer.

Flurry announced Monday that Burnett will join the company to lead sales, marketing and business development. He spend 4 1/2 years at Facebook, working on the Facebook Preferred Marketing Development program and helping fuel international advertising growth.

Flurry CEO and President Simon Khalaf commented on the new hire in a press release:

Grady is one of the very few executives that has built and scaled teams in all forms of online advertising from web display and ad serving at DoubleClick, to search at Google and most recently social at Facebook. We are honored to have Grady help Flurry and its 125,000 customers unlock the true potential of mobile advertising.

Before working at Facebook, Burnett spent roughly 4 years at Google as the company’s Director of Online Sales and Operations, managing a large part of the North American Adwords business.

Burnett noted that he’s excited to get started:

Are you ready for Bejeweled Blitz: Rubies and Riches? Josh Grady is

If you're the type that dreams of swapping and shattering gems in your sleep, then boy, does GSN have something for you. The Game Show Network is prepping for the launch of a brand new take on Facebook hit Bejeweled Blitz by PopCap. Slated for release later this week, Bejeweled Blitz: Rubies and Riches will let players compete for cash and prizes.

Without knowing much more, it sounds as if this is the same Bejeweled Blitz you've come to know and love, but with some cold, hard cash to up the stakes. You might already be exercising your wrists in preparation for the big competition on GSN, but one contender might already be way ahead of you: GSN Digital SVP of Finance Josh Grady.

Apparently a Bejeweled Blitz champion in 2012, Grady has shiny swapping skills in his blood, so much so that he's deemed himself the King of Bling.
