Image via 6wavesEnixan Entertainment and 6waves have partnered to release Fantasy Garden on Facebook, a colorful simulation game that takes players to an enchanted forest full of helpful critters like bears and dragons. Players ‘dream’ their way through the game’s story, balancing the use of many resources to expand their land, repair broken items and complete quests.
Fantasy Garden resembles another 6waves game, Ravenwood Fair, which was closed earlier this year. The game focuses heavily on removing items like rocks, trees, grass and other weeds to collect resources, and users must rely on a replenishing energy supply to complete most actions.
Bears can be assigned to specific tasks, like gathering wood, while other animals can be conjured into the world via magical spells. The game’s kitchen is used to craft items from raw materials, while crops can be grown, turned into jams, and used to recruit even more animals to the “garden.”
Image via 6wavesSocial features see players visiting their friends’ gardens, completing five tasks while there. These tasks are worth bonus coins, which can then be used to purchase additional crops, a few decorations and more.
All along the way, players are led from one task to another by quests, which can be skipped with premium currency. The game is further monetized via the purchase of energy packs and premium decorations in the store, as examples.
Fantasy Garden is gaining in popularity on Facebook. The game currently has just under 300,000 monthly active players, according to our app tracking service AppData. The game has gained 70,000 of those players within the last seven days alone. Fantasy Garden is now available to play for free on Facebook.
