FarmVille: Lilac Tree, Bike with Basket and Garden Pond back for Farmer Appreciation Week

It what will likely be the last item release of the Farmer Appreciation Event in FarmVille (unless Zynga wants to make the event longer than a traditional week, which would be fine by us), we've seen another trio of items being re-released in the game's store. As usual, there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to the three items the developer chose to re-release, but we're here to give you a look at these items so that you know whether or not they're worth purchasing. Here goes!

Yet again, this trio of items has seen price a matching set of price hikes, but when you're dealing with re-released items, that Zynga never technically had to re-release, I suppose it's understandable (and acceptable) that we pay a premium price for the convenience. Just make sure to go through your storage on both your Home and English farms to make sure you're not purchasing duplicates of these items when you don't need to. Sure, you're not wasting Farm Cash, but coins can sometimes be just as valuable.

Whatever the case, these items will only be available in the game's store for a single day, so make the most of your time and purchase them sooner, rather than later. It's possible that Zynga could release another series of Farmer Appreciation Week perks, and if they do, we'll make sure to let you know.

I hope you have your virtual wallets ready, farmers, as another set of extremely limited edition items has been re-released into the FarmVille marketplace in honor of Farmer Appreciation Week. These three items, again, were all released in previous themes, so if they look familiar to you, that's perfectly normal. Just make sure to check out your storage (across both your Home and English Countryside farms) to make sure you're not purchasing any of these items as duplicates unnecessarily. Here's a complete look at the three items, including their prices:

Hut Originally Released: Island Event 2010 Cost: 200,000 coins (formerly 100,000 coins) XP Gained: 2,000 Sells for: 10,000 coins
Monkey Bars Originally Released: International Children's Day 2010 Cost: 24,000 coins (originally 14,000 coins) XP Gained: 240 Sells for: 1,200 coins
Bougainvillea Pot Originally Released: Far East Event 2010 Cost: 5,000 coins (originally 2,200 coins) XP Gained: 50 Sells for: 250
As a quick note, the Monkey Bars item here is fairly rare, all things considered (or, it was until tonight's release). Even if you don't have any of the other playground equipment / items previously released, this one is quite the bargain, and it's likely you won't have another chance at purchasing one for quite some time (if ever again). Either way, this trio of items will be available in the game's store for just under a single day. We're not sure if additional coin items will come out tomorrow (or when, exactly, Zynga decides to flip the switch on ending Farmer Appreciation Week), but we'll continue to give you a rundown of new items should they become available.

A Guide To Making Money On Farmville Level Up Fast And Be The Richest Farmer

FarmVille is a great place to go to escape the rigors of everyday life. You can get back to nature and enjoy the peace and tranquility that comes from working on the land. However, not everything in FarmVille is an escape from the ordinary. You still need money for just about everything you do. You have to buy the seeds to plant, and you'll even have to pay a small sum for each plot of land you plow.

These costs are easily managed of course because you're harvesting and selling your crops for more than it cost to plant them. There are a lot of other items you can buy in the FarmVille market to decorate and build up your farm, and you won't be able to get these without some significant sums of cash. Buying these items will also get you some much needed experience points to help you advance to the next level, so you'll have to find a way to make sure you have enough money for all the discretionary items you want to buy.

Earnings Per Hour

Because you'll be needing your coins for so much in FarmVille, you need to maximize the earning potential of your farm. The best way to do this is to figure out which crops pay out the most coins per hour. For example, strawberries sell for 35 coins per plot of land harvested and they take 4 hours to grow. Pumpkins, on the other hand, take 8 hours to grow and sell for 68 coins per plot of land harvested.

That means, for the same acreage planted, you'll earn 8.75 coins per hour by planting strawberries, while the pumpkins will only get you 8.5 coins per hour. This may seem like a small difference, but these small amounts can add up fast. Of course, you won't be getting your money's worth unless you can harvest the crops as soon as they're ready and immediately replant on that land.

A Quick Turnaround

If you're not going to be able to get back to your farm for 8 hours, you're much better off planting the pumpkins. The longer you leave a crop after it's done maturing, the less you'll be getting per hour once you harvest it. You can only make money fast on crops that mature quickly if you're going to be able to harvest and replant as soon as they're ready for sale. Make sure you take these details into consideration when you're selecting your seeds at the Market, and you'll be seeing your bank account swelling in no time.
