Facebook to launch country level MAU and DAU metrics

Facebook is giving advertisers and marketers a wider level of understanding by rolling out country level monthly active user (MAU) and daily active user (DAU) metrics — both for desktop and mobile. This will be a vital source for companies who want to discover more about their userbase in other countries.

Facebook notes that more than 128 million people in the U.S. use Facebook on desktop (and more than 101 million on mobile). In the U.K., roughly 24 million use Facebook on desktop every day, and that’s nearly matched on mobile (20 million). Facebook wants businesses and brands on Facebook to understand more about how people engage with their ad campaigns throughout the globe.

A Facebook spokesperson commented on these new metrics, which are rolling out starting today:

A lot of people focus on monthly active users or even registered users to demonstrate their size and scale. We think this is becoming on old way of looking at the media world. In this world, understanding who comes back at least once a month is only part of the picture. Instead, businesses should focus on people who come back online every single day, because that is how they live their lives. People are online numerous times in a single day and are constantly connected; creating, sharing and engaging with the content that matters to them.

For advertisers, this will help to create campaigns that can reach the right people at the right time on both desktop and mobile. Old ways of reaching people are becoming obsolete. Advertisers of all sizes should be able to reach all the right people and do it quickly and efficiently.

Experience points the only way to level up. If you look at the bar next to your level you'll see two numbers that look something like this: 139/159. This means that you currently have 139 experience points but you need 159 to move up to the next level.

Experience can only be gained in 3 ways:

1. Completing Jobs-When a job is completed, you get paid in experience, cash, bonus payment, job mastery percentage, and looted items.

FarmVille: Sheep Breeding Level 30 unlocks 50 Sheep slots

How's that for a reward, eh? FarmVille Feed has discovered while Sheep Breeding in FarmVille that Level 30 unlocks a very special prize: another 50 slots for your bred Sheep. Players have cried out for more space for their little woolly friends, and finally with a little work we'll get it.

Well, make that a lot of work. It doesn't necessarily solve the storage issue with Sheep Breeding, but it sure is a nice band-aid.

Zynga rewards Level 100 plus FarmVille players with Farm Cash

Don't worry, FarmVille veterans, Zynga still loves you. The company announced on its FarmVille Blog today that it will introduce free Farm Cash for each level that players reach beyond 100 up to Level 250. Players that were below Level 100 would receive free Farm Cash for every level gained, but the rewards seemingly ceased after they reached triple digits.

This change not only solves this problem, but Zynga will retroactively reward players with Farm Cash for each level gained over 100. So, for you Level 250 plus players out there: Enjoy the 150 smackers just for your unfaltering dedication to the farm. This change, like all changes to the game, is slowly rolling out to players.
