Facebook hit 687 million users worldwide in the month of May, increasing its total monthly audience by 1.7%. Growth rates came in below April numbers, which were themselves just under March numbers. The company’s upward growth touched all regional markets outside with the exception of North America. In that region, the site saw traffic declines in both the US and Canada. Meanwhile, the site grew most in its emerging in Asia and Latin America.
