Zynga returns to the top of our list of fastest-growing Facebook games by Daily Active Users this week as Words With Friends adds impressive 1.4 million DAU week-over-week. The game has been growing steadily since November, when it incorporated an ad-based viral mechanic borrowed from its original iOS incarnation, but the game has had a couple of clear boosts in the past few days, gaining users directly after Christmas and New Years.
This week’s top three is rounded out by Wooga’s Diamond Dash, which has seen steady DAU increases since it went cross-platform on iOS with deep Facebook integration in December and King.com’s Bubble Witch Saga, one of three Puzzle Bobble inspired titles from the developer in this week’s chart.
